Sharqiya prosecutors ordered on Wednesday remanding five takfiri elements into custody for 15 days pending investigations on violence charges.

They are accused of joining a terrorist group, adopting takfiri thoughts and inciting violence against the State institutions.

Investigations revealed that the five-member terrorist cell received training on how to target police and army personnel. 

The public prosecution was notified to launch a probe.
