Five laborers were killed Saturday in a huge fire at a starch and glucose factory in Shobra el Khima in Qalubiya.

The fire was due to a blast in one of the boilers in the factory.

Civil protection forces rushed to the scene and controlled the fire.

Investigation into the incident is underway.
