Iraq's Popular Mobilization Forces on Tuesday liberated Fohood district, north of Fallujah of Anbar province.

A statement by the Popular Mobilization Forces said that 10 Daesh militants were killed during the military operation to liberate the district.

Iraqi forces repulsed an attack on Albu Jassim village, northeast of Fallujah, while the Popular Mobilization Forces repulsed another attack on Shiha village, north of the town, where more than 40 Daesh militants were killed and three vehicles were destroyed, the statement added.

Meanwhile, Muslim Brotherhood-affiliate Hamas al Iraq movement announced its defection from Daesh in Nineveh's Mosul, member of the Mosul notables council Abdullah al Hamdani said in a statement.

Hamas al Iraq members were fighting among Daesh militants against the Popular Mobilization Forces, which are mainly composed of Shiite militants to expel the terrorist organization from the Iraqi territory.

In Mosul, member of the so-called "Free Officers" movement Tawfiq Al Mulla said that Daesh kidnapped four female doctors from their workplaces.

The terrorist organization recently kidnapped 17 women married to anti-Daesh activists from Mosul various districts, he added.
