As many as 552 Egyptians were airlifted back home from Tunisia after having fled from Libya.
The nationals arrived from Tunisia's Djerba airport aboard two flights.
The new arrivals bring the total number of evacuated Egyptians from Libya to 9,547 on 37 flights.
Following the beheading of 21 Egyptians by Daesh terrorists last month, Egypt issued a travel ban on Libya and urged Egyptians in Libya to leave the war-ravaged country as soon as possible.
