As many as 55,336 Egyptians returned home from Libya via Salloum border crossing over the past four months, Matrouh Security Director General Anani Hamouda said in a statement on Sunday.

The number of Egyptians coming from Libya via the same crossing over the past 24 hours hit 241 Egyptians, he added.

He ordered their arrival measures to be finished swiftly.
