Fifty-seven middle ranking Muslim Brotherhood leaders and supporters were arrested Monday night on charges of attacking public and private property and conducting hostile operations across the country.

Thirteen members of the MB specific operations committees were arrested in Cairo, Qalyoubiya, Assuit and Aswan.

Twelve other wanted MB elements were arrested pending investigations into charges filed against them.

All legal measures have been taken against the arrestees.
