Egypt's police forces

Fifty-nine members of the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood (MB) were arrested in security campaigns nationwide, the Interior Ministry said in a statement on Tuesday.
The campaigns come within the framework of the security forces' efforts to thwart MB plots that target army and police personnel as well as vital institutions nationwide, according to the statement.
The 59 MB members are accused of storming police stations and inciting violence acts, the statement read.
Eight of the 59 were nabbed in Cairo, Giza, Alexandria, Ismailia and Sohag governorates, the statement added.
All security measures against the MB elements were taken and the prosecution was notified to launch a probe.
