Six supporters of the Muslim Brotherhood group were arrested Friday in the Upper Egypt governorate of Qena over instigating violence.
Arrest warrants have been issued against the suspects who face charges of inciting violence against police and army.
In December 2013, an Egyptian court labelled the MB group a terrorist organization, blaming it for a string of attacks in the country and banning all its activities nationwide.
