Baghdad - MENA
Six Daesh militants were killed and five others injured during military operations in the Iraqi governorates of Anbar and Saladin, security and local sources said Tuesday.
In Anbar governorate, west of Baghdad, US-led coalition jets bombed a site belonging to Daesh fighters, killing a terrorist called Abu Hager al-Shimary and five of his companions.
However, five members of Daesh were killed in Saladin governorate, northern Iraq, while booby-trapping a police officer's home.
Meantime, two unidentified helicopters with dozens of armed persons on board landed on a site near the Diayala governorate's city of Baqubah, northern Iraq.
Local authorities called Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi to launch an investigation on such incident.
