Iraqi forces on Friday killed 61 militants of the terrorist Daesh group in Anbar and Salahuddin governorates.

In a statement today, Iraq's Defense Ministry said that the forces were backed by the Iraqi Air Force.

The statement added that government troops destroyed a number of Daesh vehicles and defused scores of explosive charges.
