At least 61 Daesh militants were killed Thursday in airstrikes launched by the Iraqi air forces on El Bashir village in Kirkuk province, 236 km north of Baghdad.
According to the Iraqi joint military command, three leaders of the terrorist group were killed in the airstrikes.
Also, two booby-trapped cars, two pickup equipped with machine guns, and an arms cache were destroyed in the attacks.
Another building, used by the Daesh militants, were destroyed in a missile attack. Two suicide bombers were hiding in the targeted building.
