Police launched campaigns in several governorates on Sunday to arrest outlaws, thugs and firearms holders.

As many as 62 firearms were seized over the past 24 hours. A workshop for manufacturing firearms was found during the operations.

Fifteen fugitives were captured, said assistant interior minister Kamal elDaly.

Some 294 drug cases were found, he said.

Legal measures were taken in all cases, he noted.
