Sixty-five Daesh militants were killed in military operations staged by the joint Iraqi forces, backed by Al Hashd Al Shaabi militias, in western Samaraa city in northern Iraq, the Samaraa Operations Command said on Friday.

Also, the operations led to the destruction of five Daesh camps and 16 vehicles equipped with machine-guns.

An Iraqi security force carried out a military operation and destroyed a car with a machine gun and a booby-trapped tank.
