As many as 65,000 new automated passports were issued until now at the directives of Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry to meet the needs of the Egyptians abroad, Spokesman of Foreign Ministry Badr Abdel Atti said.

The ministry deals with the Egyptian expatriates on daily basis especially in the Gulf states to apprise them of issuing the passport, he said.

Scores of the Egyptians abroad thanked the ministry for its keenness on responding to their questions.
