As many as 69 Egyptians returned home from Libya via Salloum crossing over the past 24 hours, Security Director of Matrouh Hisham Lotfi said.

He pointed out that measures of ending the travel of 1,023 to Libya, including 283 Egyptians, are being fulfilled. (MENA)

Libya has been witnessing a rising insurgency by different rebel groups and militias and an increasing use of weapons since the overthrow of Muammar Gaddafi's regime in 2011.
