7 Africans arrested in Aswan over illegal entry into Egypt

Aswan security forces arrested seven Africans who sneaked into Egypt through a border area in Aswan.

The seven, aged between 23 and 30, are facing charges of illegally entering the country, according to security chief Ahmed Naser on Sunday.

Investigations are underway with the Africans who admitted they entered Egypt illegally to search for jobs.

The defendants will be deported to their home countries.
