Two Iraqi policemen were killed and five others were wounded in an attack launched by militants of Daesh terrorist group Thursday on a police station in southern Samarra, located in Salahuldin province.
The forces of the public mobilization arrived to the station to support the policemen, clashed with the militants and forced them to retreat.
Meanwhile, the local government in Basra revealed that the security plan during the month of Ramadan succeeded in foiling terrorist attacks plotted against scholars and clerics.
