Seven people were killed and 24 more injured Friday in a road accident on Egypt-Ismailia desert highway, said a well-placed security source.
The accident took place when a train collided with a school bus, the source told MENA.
Ambulances rushed to the scene and moved the injured and bodies of the dead to the International Medical Center.
Transport Minister Hany Dahy inspected the scene to get acquainted with the circumstances of the accident.
