Seven soldiers of the Libyan army were injured in a landmine blast near Nawar gate, southeast Qubbah City.

A Libyan military source said the Libyan army troops engaged in fighting against militants before the blast, with no casualties reported.

He said the Libyan troops defused a number of mines that was planted on the roadside, but a mine went off injuring seven of them.

The injured were moved to hospital and they suffered medium to slight injuries.
