The Administrative Prosecution Authority on Tuesday referred seven suspects to disciplinary court over involvement in the collision of a transport vessel with another boat in Warraq area in July leaving around 40 people dead.
Investigation revealed that the vessel had a forged maritime number plate and that it sailed without verifying its validity and adherence to other regulations.
The boat was also unlicensed and its driver had no drivers license as well, according to the probe.
The suspects had proven committed gross negligence in their duty and violated the law that led to the death of the 40 people, according to the probe.
