Security forces in North Sinai launched a wide-scale security campaign in South Arish, Sheikh Zuyaid and Rafah.
The campaign resulted in killing seven Takfiri elements, arresting 22 suspects and destroying hotbeds of terrorists.
Aircraft were used in storming the hotbeds which are used in attacking the Armed Forces and the police, said security sources in statements on Friday.
As many as three vehicles, ten plate-less motorcycles and eight cars were seized.
Meanwhile, security forces managed to detonate five explosive charges planted by Takfiri elements with no casualties reported.
