North Sinai security forces killed on Saturday seven takfiri elements and arrested five suspects in a campaign in Sheikh Zwaid and Rafah cities.
Also, 31 terrorists' hideouts were destroyed in the campaign, according to security sources.
The operation is part of a prolonged crackdown on Daesh-inspired militant groups in the peninsula.
