Security forces arrested 75 medium-ranking members of the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood (MB) group in the past 24 hours, the Interior Ministry said on Tuesday.
In a press release, the ministry added the security campaigns managed also to arrest nine members of quality operations committees affiliated to MB in Sharqiya, Qalyubia, Beni Suef and Qena governorates.
They are accused of targeting police and army forces as well as vital facilities.
A probe was launched.
