Seventy-nine Daesh militants were killed in air strikes launched by the anti-Daesh international coalition in Anbar city, west of Baghdad.
Three villages were freed from the control of the militant group during military operations by Iraqi forces backed by Shiite forces and Sunni tribes, a security source told the Iraqi Media Network on Thursday.
