One civilian was killed and seven others injured Monday in an explosive charge blast that took place near a market in southwestern Baghdad, a security source told the Iraqi News Agency.

The source said the charge was planted near shops in Suef district in southwestern Baghdad.

The injured suffered various wounds and were moved to hospital for treatment.
