Eight people were killed and 15 suspects arrested in a campaign launched by security bodies in el Arish, south of Sheikh Zuweid and Rafah in North Sinai.

The campaign managed to burn and destroy a number of terrorist hotbeds, which are used by terror groups as bases to carry out attacks against police and army forces.
