On Tuesday Israeli forces arrested eight Palestinian citizens in several West Bank cities. The arrests were concentrated in the Bethlehem district, but others were reported in Hebron, Ramallah and Qalqilya, Official Palestinian News Agency reports.In Bethlehem, in al-Azza refugee camp, the Israeli forces arrested two young men in their twenties and a 17 year old minor. In Beit Fajjar to the south of Bethlehem two more minors, 14 and 15 years of age, were arrested. Forces broke into homes in the nearby village of Rashaydeh, but no arrests were reported. In Bil'in village, close to Ramallah, Israeli forces arrested a 20 year old man, while harassing one of his relatives with pepper spray.A 25 year old man from Hebron was arrested after, according to WAFA's local sources, being forced to stay outside in the cold.In the village of Azzun near Qalqilya, the parents of 15 year old Waleed Abu Lebdeh, whose whereabouts had been unknown since Monday, learned that he was arrested by Israeli forces on his way home from school.Forces were also reported to intensify their presence at the Ennab checkpoint near Tulkarm, causing traffic jams, and at the Dotan checkpoint near Jenin, closing it and declaring it a military area.
