Eight suspects were arrested in a security campaign in North Sinai on Sunday, security sources said.

The campaign targeted the cities of Sheikh Zuwaid and Rafah.

The sources said that a number of hideouts were destroyed while seven explosive devices were detonated.

Also, three vehicles used by terrorists were seized in the campaign.
