Jordanian border guards stationed along the Jordan–Syria border have received 83 Syrian refugees over the past 72 hours, Petra news agency reported.
The guards provided the refugees with their basic needs and transportation that will take them to the refugee camps.
They also provided health care and necessary medical treatment for the injured.
The border guards carry out their mission in protecting Jordan's borders and preventing infiltration and smuggling attempts through patrols and electronic surveillance, a statement by the Jordanian Armed Forces said.
