As many as 851 Egyptians have returned home from Libya via Salloum Crossing over the past 24 hours, said Matrouh police chief Major General Hisham Lotfy Monday.

Lotfy said of the 851 Egyptians, 574 had entered Libya legally, while the remaining 277 entered illegally.

He added that 557 persons; 207 Egyptians and 350 Libyans, crossed into Libya through the Salloum crossing.
