Security forces arrested 88 medium-ranking members of the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood (MB) group in the past 24 hours.

Security forces managed also to arrest 43 members of quality operations committees affiliated to the terrorist group in Cairo, Alexandria, Sharqiya, Behira and Assiut.

Twenty-two extremists were also nabbed in security campaigns nationwide.

They are accused of storming public and private facilities and inciting violence across the state.

A probe was launched.
