Nine members of the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood (MB) group were arrested over violence charges in Behira governorate, north of Cairo on Tuesday.
They face charges of inciting violence and calling for violent protests.
In 2013, an Egyptian court blacklisted the Muslim Brotherhood and banned all its activities in the country.
