Ninety-four middle-ranking leaders of the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood group were arrested as part of intensive security measures, said the Interior Ministry on Thursday.

The arrests were made over their involvement in attacks against public and private institutions and violence incitement across Egypt.

Also, six MB members were arrested over plans targeting police, army and vital establishments in the governorates of Cairo, Daqahliya, Behira and Fayyoum.
