Egypt-Gaza Rafah terminal

As many 995 passengers crossed the Egypt-Gaza Rafah terminal on Sunday from both directions after the Egyptian authorities agreed to reopen the crossing, an official source at the terminal said.
Some 614 persons crossed into Egypt, while 381 crossed the terminal into the Gaza Strip.
Among the passengers were 46 deported from Arab and foreign countries.
Egypt had closed the terminal in the aftermath of a terror attack in North Sinai on October 24 that left several army men killed and injured. It now reopens the terminal occasionally to allow stranded Palestinians return home.
