Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas discussed Saturday with Saudi Foreign Minister Adel al-Jubeir over a phone call the latest developments in the Palestinian territories.

Talks covered the Israeli escalations there, especially the repeated attacks and violations in Al-Quds and Aqsa Mosque.

Abbas sent his greetings to King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia over his staunch support for the Palestinian cause and rights.

The Palestinian occupied territories have witnessed a wave of violence that has raised concerns over a possible third intifada if tension continues to further escalate.
