Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas chaired on Tuesday a meeting of the executive committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) at the presidency's headquarters in the West Bank city of Ramallah.
The meeting tackled the latest preparations for the 27th meeting of the PLO Central Council, which will kick off on Wednesday.
The Central Council is a the link between the National Council, the PLO parliament, and the executive committee of the organization. It has the power to take decisions in case the absence of the National Council.
