Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas hailed Egypt's support to the Palestinian cause.

During his meeting with Egypt's Ambassador to Palestine Wael Nasr el Din Attiya, Abbas underlined the importance of joint coordination between the Palestinian and Egyptian leaderships in the upcoming period.

Abbas also briefed the Egyptian ambassador on the latest developments in Palestine along with the escalation of Israel's violations against the Palestinian people and their sanctuaries.

The Egyptian leadership puts the Palestinian cause on top of its priorities, said the Egyptian ambassador.
