Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas received a phone call Friday from Arab League chief Nabil Al Arabi.
The AL chief informed Abbas that the pan-Arab body would hold a meeting at the level of foreign ministers to discuss the Israeli aggression on Gaza and ways of protecting the Palestinian people from the attacks.
Abbas welcomed the AL call to hold the meeting to come up with an Arab stance against the aggression.
