King Abdullah II of Jordan mourned on Friday the death of Saudi Arabia's King Abdullah ben Abdel Aziz who passed away earlier in the day.
In a statement by Jordan's Royal Court, Abdullah II expressed sorrow of the passing of King Abdullah ben Abdel Aziz, adding that the Muslim and Arab world lost a peerless leader who spared no efforts to serve his people and humanity.
Abdullah II voiced confidence in new King Saudi king Salman ben Abdel Aziz to follow the steps of the late leader in supporting his nation.
The King highlighted strong and strategic relations linking Jordan and Saudi Arabia.
