Abdel Moneim Aboul Fotouh

Former presidential candidate Abdel Moneim Aboul Fotouh won on Friday uncontested elections on his current position as leader of the Strong Egypt Party.
In a statement by the party's higher office, Ahmed Fawzy won election on the same list with Aboul Fotouh as secretary general of the party.
The party has also held a contest on its higher board, the statement said.
Amendments on the party's statute were suggested during a meeting by the office to announce the results of the vote.
Aboul Fotouh, who leads the political party, served as a deputy leader of the guidance office of the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood from 1987 to 2009.
