Human Rights activist Hafez Abu Saada decided to freeze his chairmanship of the Egyptian Organization for Human Rights to run in the coming parliamentary elections.
He said the decision aims at guaranteeing the independence and the integrity of the organization, which monitors in cooperation with other entities any electoral process in Egypt.
He added that he assigned Ahmed Abdel Hafiz, the organization deputy chairman, to run the organization.
