The House of Representatives has agreed to appoint Counselor Ahmed Saad Eddin as its secretary general.

The office of the House has agreed that Saad Eddin assumes the post, said House Speaker Dr Aly Abdel Aal on Tuesday.

He praised Saad Eddin's legal expertise.

Saad Eddin was named secretary general of the House of Representatives following the resignation of Khaled el Sadr.
