Al Aqsa Mosque guards and a number of worshipers confronted settlers who wanted to carry out Jewish rituals inside the mosque on Sunday.
The Israeli police arrested two of them and sent them to al-Kashla police station in Old Jerusalem.
Israeli forces expelled a number of children outside the mosque, according to the Palestinian news agency WAFA.
