Mahmoud El-Sherif, head of the Association of Al-Ashraf (descendents of the Prophet Mohamed) condemned the gruesome killing of 21 Egyptian Copts by Daesh in Libya.
In a statement late on Sunday, Sherif underlined the importance that Egyptians be united behind its leadership and Armed Forces in the face of terrorism.
He reiterated that Islam rejects all acts of terrorism.
He expressed condolences to the families of the dead, saying Islam prohibits the killing of any human bring, Muslim or Christian.
