Al Azhar has condemned a terrorist attack that targeted a mosque in Saudi Arabia.

The mosque is used by security forces in Abha, close to Yemeni borders.

In a statement, Al Azhar said Islam condemns terror and acts of violence.

Al Azhar voices condolences to Saudi King Salman bin Abdel Aziz Al Saud and the Saudis, expressing support to the Kingdom in countering terror.
