Al-Azhar on Saturday condemned the malicious attack on Emirates NBD branch in Mahalla el Kobra city of Gharbiya governorate on Friday.
In a statement, the highest Sunni authority in the world, asserted that such attack would not stop the development momentum of Egypt and would not hinder the long-awaited economic conference.
The statement expressed condolences to the families of the slain people and wished the wounded a speedy recovery.
On Friday, a bomb went off outside Emirates NBD branch in Mahalla el Kobra city, claiming the lives of two people and injuring 16 others.
