Al Azhar expressed deep concern over the tragic situation in Falloujah where hundreds have been killed and many families have become homeless for several months now.

In a statement Tuesday, Al Azhar asserted that relieving the suppressed Muslims all over the world is the duty of all Islamic countries.

Al Azhar urged relief agencies to swiftly help the besieged people in Falloujah.

Also, the statement denounced Daesh terrorist crimes in Falloujah which include destroying property and killing innocent people.
