Al Azhar Grand Imam Ahmed al Tayyeb mourned the five Bahraini soldiers who were killed while defending the southern borders of Saudi Arabia.

In a statement issued on Saturday, Al Azhar offered condolences to Bahraini King Hamad bin Isa al Khalifa, the Bahraini people as well as the families of the victims.

Meanwhile, Al Azhar mourned on Friday the UAE soldiers who were killed in the line of duty during 'Operation Restore Hope', under the Arab alliance to support the people of Yemen and their legitimate government.
