Al Azhar asserted that no decision has never been taken by any of its officials to bring back a staffer.

"There is implementation of laws and rules that regulate contracts or work abroad ..The term of contract of working abroad is four years that can be expanded to eight years," said Azhar's undersecretary Abbas Shoman.

"Contracts are renewed every year," he added.

"Al Azhar has the right to end any contract during the term if there is a necessity," he said.

He stressed that such decisions are not personal but under rules.
