Al Azhar Grand Imam Shiekh Ahmed el Tayyeb met Sunday with Niger's acting ambassador here.

El Tayyeb underlined the keenness of Al Azhar on providing support to the Niger's students via increasing the number of scholarships offered to them.

For his part, the Niger's diplomat expressed his appreciation for the role played by the great Islamic edifice in educating his country's students the moderate teachings of that divine religion.
